I just have to quote one of my many sources of inspiration – K G Hammar. If your are not Swedish you might not recognize the name, he was archbishop in my country between 1997-2006 and famous for his liberal approach to theology as well as his fight for humanity, equal rights for all beings no matter what colour, religious belief or sexual preferences. The same things that he was also, believe it or not, many times criticised for.

I feel completely at home with the way he describes God, to the point where I would like to turn to him and ask: “That book in your hand, are you sure it’s the bible and not the Yoga Sutras…?”

Any form of definition of God is a misstake, God is a relationship. It’s the great mystery, the big seceret in life that presents itself to anyone who is open hearted but who dissapears when we define God. God is never the same as the definition of God.”
